Kickboxing

     

New Sessions begin on Tuesday, January 16th and Thursday, January 18th!

     In this exciting, heart-pumping cardio class, you will learn both basic and advance punching and kicking techniques, as well as combinations used in kickboxing. Partner drills utilizing air shields and focus mitts will be taught. Shadow boxing, circuit training (including some bag and rope work), and group endurance drills will also be implemented creating a well-rounded cardiovascular workout.

     During this class, you will also develop upper and lower body strength through bodyweight-only excercises (i.e. squats, lunges, push-ups, abdominal crunches, etc.). Additional drills will be incorporated based on student interest, and modifications for all fitness levels will be shown. The class will begin at a pace suitable for moderate fitness levels and will increase in intensity.

You WILL be able to both see and feel the benefits.
